We Are Seeking to Staff Volunteer Positions at QuiltFest Greenville, SC!
Pre-Registration is required for all volunteers.
Volunteer positions will be filled as commitments are received.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
JUDGING ASSISTANTS
Quilt Competition (Limit 2): Assist the judging team (this may fulfill some organizations’ requirements toward judging certification). Starts with a briefing and includes a complimentary lunch. Volunteers for this assignment will receive a $65 credit to be used towards a workshop.
Please note: If you enter into this competition, you are not eligible for this volunteer position.FASHION SHOW ASSISTANTS
Fashion Show Assistant Duties: (Limit 2) Press and Dress! Assist the professional fashion show coordinator and presentation of the show. Volunteers for this assignment will receive a $45 credit to be used towards a workshop.FASHION SHOW MODELS
Fashion Show Model Duties: (Limit 10) Runway modeling experience not required! Fitting requirements: woman of any age, height, and of varying dress sizes between petite, small, medium, and large. Models will receive a $45 credit to be used towards a workshop.EXHIBITION HOST/HOSTESS
White Glove Docents Duties (Limit 18): Be available at designated areas of the quilts on display to assist persons who wish to “take a closer look” at a specific quilt. There are two four-hour shifts for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Volunteers will receive a $45 credit to be used towards a workshop for each four-hour shift they commit to during the event. There is a limit of two shifts per volunteer. A pair of white cotton gloves is required.
Please note: You should plan to arrive 10 minutes before your shift.

There are two four-hour shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to choose from. Volunteers receive a $45 credit to be used towards a workshop for each shift they commit to during the event. There is a limit of two shifts per volunteer. Duties: Press and Dress! Assist the professional fashion show coordinator in the preparation and presentation of the show. Volunteers for this assignment will receive a $45 credit to be used towards a workshop.FASHION SHOW MODELS (May be guild members or friends and relatives of guild members)
Duties: Runway modeling experience not required! Fitting requirements: woman of any age, 5’2” through 5’6” preferred, dress size 8 - 14. Models need to bring colored shoes, black shoes, and wear long pantyhose. Models will receive a $45 credit to be used towards a workshop.
