Denver National Quilt Festival V
April 29 - May 2, 2010
Denver, Colorado

The “Mile High City,” one of America’s most scenic and entertaining spots, welcomed back an amazing and unique collection of quilt and textile art from across the country. Also featured at the 2010 Denver National Quilt Festival were fascinating workshops and lectures and the Merchants Mall offering everything quilters and textile artists need to fill up their stash shelves, finish that quilt and start the next masterpiece. Denver National Quilt Festival Workshops
Workshops and lectures, full of fun and innovative techniques for beginners as well as for the more advanced textile artist were offered during the Denver National Quilt Festival. Those interested in learning new skills, developing skills already acquired or just wanting to have some quilting fun benefited from an outstanding nationally known faculty.

The Merchants Mall at DNQF

The Merchants Mall at the Festival featured fabulous vendor booths with this country’s finest companies, which offered the best in fabrics, notions, machines, wearable art, embroidery and everything for today’s quilt artist and home sewer.

    

The Quilt Competition & Special Exhibits

Denver National Quilt Festival featured a juried and judged prize money competition themed, “The Rocky Road to Success.” Entrants were asked what roads to perfections they traveled with their competition entry. The Quilt Fest of New Jersey VI
March 4-7, 2010

The Quilt Fest of New Jersey VI and the “Tri-State Quilt Competition” returned to The Garden State Exhibit Center March 4 – 7, 2010 for another year of quilting and competing. To view a "Tri-State Quilt Competition" winners' list with quilt images, please click here. This spectacular event provided the stage for a unique collection of quilt, wearable and textile art, along with a fabulous Merchants Mall. The Quilt Fest also featured special exhibitions including an exhibit of the beautiful award winning quilts of the 2010 Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival
