Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival XXIII February 23-26, 2012 Hampton, Virginia

The Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival returned to the Hampton Roads Convention Center in the Greater Chesapeake Bay/Williamsburg, VA area, February 23 – 26, 2012 with a spectacular collection of over 500 quilts and works of wearable and textile art. Fellow enthusiasts shared a love for creating, learning and shopping at the 4-day event. The Merchants Mall of more than 250 vendor booths featured quilting supplies, textiles, books, sewing related craft items, kits, sewing machines, clothing, accessories and so much more! The Festival also included entries to the quilt and wearable art competitions as well as special exhibitions plus workshops and lectures presented by well-known, talented instructors.

World Quilt Show - Florida

| Want to see quilts from across the globe? There was no need to spend eighty days traveling by boat – the quilts traveled to you! The World Quilt Show - Florida's highlight was the quilts from all over the globe competing in the 2011 World Quilt Competition XV, presenting a mix of culture, diversity and creative talent. This international quilt competition drew entries from across the globe. Show-goers enjoyed viewing the diverse talent and techniques that is captured through quilt making. The World Quilt Competition is the largest and most comprehensive showing of international quilts in the United States. |

The World Quilt Show also featured a new Southeastern States Quilt Competition open to residents of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi only. In addition, residents of Florida competed for the prestigious Best of Florida Quilt Award.

| In addition, renowned instructors presented seminars and shared their skills, secrets, and special tips. For beginners who wanted to discover new skills or for veterans who wished to build on their own expertise, the instructor line-up satisifed all! In 2011, the well-known faculty included Sue Dennis from Australia as well as Marjan Kluepfel, Dierdra McElroy, Sue Nickels, Bobbie Bergquist, Judi Gunter, Phyllis Twigg Hatcher, Virginia Walton and Pat Yamin.

Pacific International Quilt Festival XX October 13-16, 2011 Santa Clara - Bay Area, California
| In 2011, Mancuso Show Management celebrated 20 spectacular years of the Pacific International Quilt Festival. Not only did this incredible event feature astounding works or art, it also offered a wide array of workshops presented by world-renowned instructors and a fabulous Merchants Mall. The Festival's centerpiece, however, was again its outstanding collection of over 800 quilts and works of wearable and textile art on display plus a very special 20 year festival retrospective in pictures! |
